We discover the monumental success of this product, which has become essential in the kitchens of some. This is the case of Stéphane and Severine Lucas. Their cellar is filled with household appliances, with a total of 6,000 euros, but one of them has no place in the cupboard. Indeed, the airfryer, itself, sits proudly on the worktop. This appliance is an all-purpose oven, which completely changes the way we cook.
“It replaces the oven, it can replace the griddle, the fryer” explains Stéphane. The father proves it with his demonstration: in 15 minutes, dinner is ready, and visibly succulent. And the latter can no longer imagine his life without it: “It’s hard to do without it”. In France, more than a million devices have been sold since the beginning of the year. The product is considered “the Swiss army knife of the kitchen”: it would allow you to cook everything, from fries to popcorn, from meat to pastries.

We discover a salesman in a household appliance store. He confides that sales of this product have increased by 50% in one year. Last month, they sold no less than 146 airfryers. For the salesman, the argument is always the same: it is a machine that does everything. But if many consumers seem to be won over by the product, on X, Internet users have doubts. According to them, the product is very recent in kitchens and, until now, was not necessary. Some of them consider that this household appliance does not replace the good old other kitchen appliances like the fryer or the oven. They do not understand the craze.
