“The boss is back!” It’s official: The Voice will return for a fourteenth season in 2025, and big changes are on the agenda. In a press release shared on Monday, September 9, 2024, the TF1 channel announced a few surprises for the next edition of its famous singing competition. First with the triumphant return of Florent Pagny, the show’s iconic coach since its launch twelve years ago, who had to be absent for health reasons. Now in remission from his lung cancer, which he revealed to the public in 2022, the singer of Ma liberté de penser will therefore return to television sets and find his place on the famous red chairs of The Voice. But that’s not the only new thing that the first channel is promising its loyal viewers!
“New season, new story, new coaches, new set, new stages,” TF1 announces in its press release. Indeed, in addition to a new set and challenges, two new celebrities will make their appearance in this season 14. “Two big stars, two iconic voices, two strong personalities, two essential artists of French song who have sold millions of albums and have won numerous awards,” writes the channel about the latest additions to The Voice family.
