Mentor Ba is also known for winning the “Face of The Year Made in Senegal” in 2013 and for starring in “Saloum”. The deceased is a little brother the lawyer, Me Cheikh Khoureyssi Ba. Director of cinematography Germain Coly hailed the memory of Senegalese actor Mentor Ba, stressing that the deceased had “marked the world of Senegalese and international cinema”. ”It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Mr. Mentor Ba. An outstanding actor, Mr. Ba marked the world of Senegalese and international cinema,” he wrote in a post published on his Facebook page.
According to Germain Coly, the performances of the actor in the ”Golden” series and several films, including ”Saloum” by Jean-Luc Huberlot and ”Xalé, les wounds de l’enfance” by Moussa Sène Absa, ” sufficiently testify to his innate talent ”, to the point of being distinguished ” Face of the Year made in Senegal ” (Face of the year made in Senegal) in 2013
