The wind blew on Touraine, during this night from Saturday to Sunday 26 January. Between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. last night, the SDIS 37 had counted fourteen interventions for trees fallen on the public highway.

Three other operations were carried out for fallen electric wires. At midnight, no injuries were to be deplored according to the authorities.

85 km/h in Ferrière-Larçon

On X (ex-owner) the Météo Center association evoked “A secondary depression, around 10:15 pm”, which gave strong gusts of wind from 60 to 90 km/h more often, and locally up to 90 km/h over a large southern half of the Center-Val de region.

At 10:15 p.m., strong gusts were recorded in Sud-Touraine: 85 km/h in Ferrière-Larçon and 84 km/h in Reignac-sur-Indre (Indre-et-Loire).
