Laura Queinnec created Soleïla Travel has Guingamp (Côtes-d'Armor). This is a business of personalized tripswhere she designs adapted stays to the desires, needs and budgets of its customers.

“I studied for seven years and lived in eight different cities before returning to Guingamp,” says Laura Queinnec.

A great traveler, she had the chance, from her childhood, to discover many countries abroad with her two sisters and her brother. It is therefore between her attraction to “other cultures, other horizons” and her skills acquired in events and entrepreneurship that the 25-year-old Guingampaise found the “perfect combination. »

Families, its core target

“I want other children to be able to experience what I had the chance to experience,” says Laura with a smile. “But between a demanding job and children to take care of, it’s not easy to find the time or the courage to organize a trip. So I take care of it for them. Families are really my core target. »

However, its services are aimed at everyone: individuals and professionals, solo travelers, couples or groups.

Laura Queinnec charges her fees for her preparation work: “This requires in-depth research beforehand. For a weekend, you need to count at least 90 euros. For a one-month trip, this can go up to 1,000 euros. »

An alternative to travel agencies

Unlike a travel agency, Laura does not directly make reservations for her clients and does not offer pre-established packages. It focuses solely on 100% tailor-made trips, organized day by day.

“I advise activities and accommodation, but I do not collaborate with them through partnerships. This allows me to remain independent. » She also relies on a vast network of contacts, including other travel planners and acquaintances living abroad.

Ambitions for the future

Launched less than three months ago, Laura is currently focusing on organizing travel, but is already considering developments, particularly in events.

“Ultimately, I would like to try out for myself the accommodations and activities that I regularly recommend,” she confides. “It requires a big investment, but I want to be sure of the quality of what I offer to my customers. »
