A few days ago, Jean-Pierre Delobel, mayor of Fallencourt near Foucarmont (Seine-Maritime), presented his wishes for the year 2025.

During his speech, and surrounded by his municipal council, he expressed his anger towards residents who burn plastics, or branches.

We have a recycling center 2 kilometers away. Plastics pollute the air in our community. I ask you to stop this!

The importance of the wind project

Jean-Pierre Delobel also mentioned the wind project, essential according to him, for the finances of the municipality. He recalled: “We do not know if the government will continue or stop its allocations to municipalities”. In fact, the grants allow villages to be able to undertake various works. However, at the end of 2025, wind turbines must be installed on the territory of the municipality.

The money that the wind turbines will bring us will allow us to expand our annual budget.

Before addressing these two themes, the councilor welcomed the residents with joy. “What a joy to welcome you all, and to welcome a new family to our town,” he said in the preamble to his speech.

Following this, he recalled that the municipality had a small budget, while the repair of municipal roads must be done as quickly as possible.

And of course, he ended his speech on a positive note by wishing all his constituents a very happy new year.
