This is what figures from the Directorate of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics (Drees) reveal in a new report. We learn that the urgent medical aid service (Samu) has been in increasing demand in recent years. A trend which has accelerated with Covid, and also with the regulation of emergency services. Patients are invited to call 15 to determine whether their symptoms concern emergencies or primary care. In Yvelines, the Samu use rate was 32 per 100 inhabitants in 2014. It increased to 48% in 2022.
