After having successfully developed the industrial, then luxury and arts and crafts sectors, the Seine-Eure Agglomeration wishes to strengthen its attractiveness by making tourism the third pillar of its economic development.
With its historical heritage, its breathtaking landscapes and its conference and seminar facilities, the area has all the potential to become a leisure and business tourist destination.
Close to Paris, accessible by the A13 or by train, the location is ideal for a green stay close to the major Normandy tourist sites: Giverny, Deauville, Etretat and Honfleur.
Despite its many assets, the Seine-Eure region must make up for the lack large capacity (more than 100 rooms) and quality establishments (3* and 4*)necessary to develop a more varied offering, particularly for business customers. It also wishes to diversify its accommodation offering, in particular by encouraging development of outdoor hotelsin line with its “Nature and Fun” marketing positioning.
To meet this challenge, the community intends to actively prospect project leaders and tourism investors whose establishment is facilitated by a single contact. Indeed, it is now possible to count on Delphine Butelet, whose mission is to connect project leaders with opportunities in the region.
-Thus, the Seine-Eure Agglomeration is engaging in a proactive approach to strengthen its tourism offering and establish itself as a destination of choice, both for leisure and business.
