OLD Maroc displays unwavering optimism for the year 2025 and beyond. It provides, in fact, “a 44% increase of its operational capabilities within three years,” shared Karim El Mazouni, Alten Morocco Country Director on Tuesday in Casablanca. El Mazouni spoke during a meeting dedicated to the presentation of the 2024 results and prospects of Alten Maroc. This planned growth is based on the expected development of certain strategic sectors. In this case, these are the information technology, aeronautics and telecommunications. Sectors that Alten Maroc will support with “a rise in expertise of its human resources by more than 20%,” explains Hajar Bououd, Director of Human Resources and Communication. Another highlight of this commitment to growth: the establishment of a new department dedicated to IT, “launched to strengthen ALTEN Maroc’s technological offering and meet the needs of the national and international market,” indicates Alten Maroc .

The current year is, moreover, marked by the opening of an offshore center in Senegal. Which represents an important step in its international development, particularly on the continent. And for good reason, Senegal is only the first country in Africa, after Morocco, in a project to set up 2 centers on the continent by 2027 and 4, in total, ultimately, reveals Didier Marchet, director of Offshore Delivery Centers. Their mission is to meet the expectations of customers in , for the moment, but also in Italy and Germany. In the meantime, the Senegalese center has adopted the objective of attracting 100 consultants by the end of 2025. For Alten Maroc, this initiative is also part of the strategic orientations of Morocco aiming to establish and strengthen its economic and technological relations with African countries, affirming its role as a regional hub and catalyst for lasting partnerships.

Human resources: employee engagement at the center of ambitions

On the HR side, Alten Maroc marks the year 2025 under the sign of diversity and employee well-being. As such, it is part of “a dynamic resolutely oriented towards the development and commitment of employees”. This is why one of Alten Maroc’s HR objectives is to achieve “a training rate of 70%», shares Bououd. To achieve this, “the company is diversifying its training options by enriching its e-learning platforms,” explains the company. Other objectives were revealed during this meeting: 20% increase in the number of experts and specialists, 10 academic partnerships and 200 work-study internships.

These objectives are a continuation of the achievements of 2024. A year during which Alten Maroc “consolidated its role in the field of engineering and technological services”. The company has, in fact, achieved a workforce of 2,200 employees80% of whom are engineers in the last year. Its activities have become more diversified: engineering (36%), digital (23%), telecom support (19%) and embedded systems (16%). She has, moreover, also “broadened your skills in strategic areas such as rail and fiber optics“. Areas of expertise on which Alten Maroc counts to strengthen its capacity to offer technological solutions with high added value in Morocco and internationally.

In addition to integrating artificial intelligence“with an entity of around ten people who have been working there for 14 months now”, according to Marchet, ALTEN Morocco also obtained, in 2024, la certification ISO 27001reinforcing its commitment to information security. This compliance is in addition to that linked to the TISAX standard held by the company and which it plans to renew this year. At the same time, it intends to continue the steps to obtain la certification ISO 9001 (quality management).

In terms of human capital, other achievements marked the past year: a training rate of 60%, 9 internal events and 68 afterworks. “These initiatives increased team friendliness and engagement, achieving an average satisfaction rate of 88.2%,” says Alten. Added to this are 9 recruitment forums, l’initiative ALTEN Bridge and partnerships with ten major schools. Results: more than 500 interviews, allowing the integration of more than 150 PFE trainees and 111 work-study students. As a reminder, for this work-study program, ALTEN Morocco collaborated closely with the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Higher Educationas well as participating schools.

On the social side, the year 2024 was also loaded with significant actions for Alten: donation of 200 computers to ten educational establishments selected by the Ministry of National Education, the organization of breast cancer screening days in the framework ofPink Octoberand a social action on the occasion of the International Women’s Rights Dayallowing the women of Al Haouz to promote their know-how, strengthen their economic autonomy and boost local activity, recalls the company.
