The sanction fell. After having been a source of serious and numerous disturbances to public order, the restaurant “Thaï Thaï”, located on route de Fleury, in Viry-Châtillon, is the subject ofan administrative closure lasting two months, signed on Thursday January 16, 2025 by the prefect of Essonne.

Damaged cars, annoying parking, noise pollution…

Since the summer of 2024, this establishment has been in the sights of law enforcement. The Juvisy-sur-Orge police services intervened for the first time on August 22, 2024. They discovered that an employee was unable to justify his employment situation.

As a result, police checks intensified. On August 26, 2024, around 3:50 a.m., the police went to the scene to find a vehicle which was parked in the road in front of the restaurant and was obstructing traffic. A camping chair and a hookahnamely a hookah, had also been abandoned on the sidewalk.

On September 6, 2024, a police check, around 12:35 a.m., revealed the presence of a group of individuals sitting on camping chairs smoking a hookah. Vehicles were also found degraded.

Note that many residents of the area have repeatedly denounced the noise pollution caused by this establishment. The restaurant, which offers Thai takeaway meals, has already subject to sanctions in June 2022 and 2023 for concealed work.
