A man dies after being hit by a train in Cenon, SNCF traffic interrupted on several lines in the South-West
Train traffic has been interrupted since 6:23 a.m., informs the SNCF on several axes of Bordeaux-Nord, namely Bordeaux-La Rochelle, Bordeaux-Angoulême, Bordeaux-Périgueux, Bordeaux-Sarlat, Bordeaux-Libourne, as well as the main lines in direction of Paris. A person was hit by a train at Cenon station, on the right bank of Bordeaux. A deceased man was found by firefighters. Passengers on the regional express train between Périgueux and Bordeaux were evacuated by SNCF staff before the arrival of emergency services and the national police. On board the train, the driver, a 36-year-old man, was taken care of by the SNCF.
