In the Calvadosthe National Rally begins a new era. Louis Defever, 22, has just been appointed departmental delegate, succeeding Philippe Chapron, after forty years at the head of the Far Right movement.
Strengthen the connection of the RN in Calvados
Louis Defever, administrative executive and active activist since 2018, embodies a new generation of local political leaders. His appointment is part of a dynamic of rejuvenation of the local structures of the movement. With the stated ambition of “strengthen local roots of the National Rally”, he plans a field-focused strategy.
“We need every citizen to build a future in which everyone feels safe, respected and proud of their territory. Together, we will carry out a bold project based on the values of sovereignty, justice and the preservation of our heritage,” he declares with conviction.
Priority to terrain and proximity
To achieve its objectives, Louis Defever wishes to multiply the proximity initiatives. Strengthening ties with citizens, activists and local elected officials is at the top of its priorities. “It is essential to build momentum strong and durable“, he explains.
-Among the projects envisaged: the organization of regular events to inform, mobilize and unite residents in Calvados, around its ideas. These meetings aim to create a real space for exchanges and debates to better understand the expectations and concerns of citizens, according to him.
A political renewal
This transition also marks a renewal of the leadership teams of the National Rally at the local level. Louis Defever, with his young and committed profile, embodies a generation of elected officials and political leaders looking to the future.
The appointment of this new delegate will undoubtedly be closely scrutinized, both by activists and political observers. With this new energy, the National Rally hopes to strengthen its presence and visibility in the department, while consolidating its local roots.
