A serious accident occurred this Monday afternoon in Isère. A childminder and the two little girls she was looking after were hit by a vehicle as they were returning from school. Two of the victims were seriously injured.
The tragedy took place in Châbons, in Isère. Shortly before 5 p.m., while two children were returning from school, accompanied by their maternal assistance, a vehicle reversed, hitting the three pedestrians. According to The Dauphiné Libéréthe driver would be a septuagenarian who “panicked” at the wheel of her automatic car. An investigation will have to establish her responsibility in the accident which seriously injured the childminder as well as the two little girls in her care.
