During the night from Sunday to Monday, a serious road accident occurred in Bazoges-en-Paillers, in the north of Vendée, near Les Herbiers. A 35-year-old man was seriously injured after his vehicle crashed into a utility pole.

A witness speaks of a leak

According to testimonies collected by firefighters, an individual was seen trying to free the injured driver before quickly leaving the scene. The victim, seriously injured, was treated by emergency services and transported to Nantes University Hospital.
