Ifrane: a snow removal campaign in full swing to restore traffic

Recent snowfall has caused the interruption of traffic on several important roads, notably those linking Azrou to Timahdite, Azrou to Ifrane, Habri to Michlifen and Michlifen to Ifrane. Faced with this situation, the various services of the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, supported by local authorities and security services, mobilized to free the roads and ensure the safety of users. The Ministry of Equipment and Water is increasing road projects in the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region with a view to opening up the different provinces of the region, in particular rural areas, for a budget envelope of more of 1.7 billion dirhams. The latest to date are the remaining works to divert the RP4702 over 14.2 km at the level of the Kharroub dam reservoir in the province of Larache.
