The general assembly of Espérance de Formerie was held on Saturday January 11. Despite the deficit year, the passion of musicians has intensified.

The musicians talk about Hope to the festival committees to perhaps get a few more parades. The year 2024 was marked by a major evolution of Espérance de Formerie. “ We started with small movements during the parades then there was Fanfares en Fête. » And the musicians put on a show. “ Great pride. »
The plan for a two-day trip has not been abandoned. “ Let's wait and see what the future years have in store for us », underlined Aline Heux.
New musicians at Espérance de Formerie
Five musicians joined the ranks this year. L'Espérance de Formerie now has 25 musicians. “ The door is wide open to people who want to join us. » Drum, bass drum, cymbals, trumpet, sax, clarinet… the group works with passion to prepare patriotic demonstrations and holiday entertainment. Rehearsals take place in the music room on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with conductor Manuel Heux.
Esperance will be present at the flag festival which will take place this year in Escles-Saint-Pierre. William Bous, mayor, assured the municipality of support for the band.
-After the election of the outgoing third, composed of Foulon Denis, Foulon Angélique and Heux Christine (the only one re-elected), everyone shared a friendly drink and tasted the galette des rois.
