Emotion for Vendéen Sébastien Simon who finishes 3rd in the Vendée Globe

The Vendéen Sébastien Simon and his Groupe Dubreuil boat arrived in Les Sables-d'Olonne this Friday, January 17, in the night at 1:27 a.m., after an exceptional race lasting 67 days and 12 hours. Its entry into the Port Olona channel was announced for 8:00 a.m.

The 34-year-old Sablais skipper therefore finished at third place behind Charlie Dalin and Yoann Richomme, but also ahead of Armel le Cléac'h's old record of 74 days, 3 hours, 35 minutes and 46 seconds.
