Moroccan courts handled 4,466,727 cases in 2024, equivalent to 103% of registered cases and 88.5% of ongoing cases, according to Mohamed Abdennabaoui, First President of the Court of Cassation.
At the opening of the 2025 judicial year, he indicated that the total number of pending cases reached 5,052,086, with a decrease of 142,760 pending cases. The Court of Cassation also ruled on 52,904 cases, surpassing the records from the previous year.
Furthermore, the Superior Council of the Judicial Power focuses on the digital transformation of the judicial system and the moralization of justice.
In 2024, he completed the first phase of a strategic plan to structure the associative landscape of magistrates. The opening ceremony also included the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Belgian High Council of Justice and the decoration of several magistrates.
