The second Ariane 6 was transferred to its launch area. This transfer between the assembly building and the launch zone 800 meters away took place on Monday January 13. This new stage comes 6 months after the inaugural flight of 2024.
This period was devoted, initially, to an in-depth study of the results and all the parameters of the mission.
This second flight proves essential for European confidence. Ariane 6 must be the spearhead of the European community. A new take-off which must ensure and reassure all members of the space agency of the old continent, regarding independent access to space.
For now, the launch of this second flight should take place before mid-March.
