Bourita receives the Gambian Minister of Foreign Affairs, carrying a written message from the President of the Gambia to HM the King

In a statement to the press following this interview, Mr. Tangara expressed his country’s gratitude and thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for all the support that Morocco has provided to the Gambia, which holds the current presidency of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), following the success of the Organization’s summit that his country hosted last year.

His Majesty the King, as President of the Al-Quds Committee, has “a determining role to play in the success of this Organization”, he affirmed. Mr. Tangara also took this opportunity to salute the actions undertaken by HM the King, Amir Al-Mouminine.

He also indicated that his meeting with Mr. Bourita was also an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and to discuss the situation in the sub-region, in order to agree on common positions in relation with Africa.
