“Magnifiscience”: the surprising professional reconversion of Professor Didier Raoult

It’s a surprising reconversion. Professor Didier Raoult, banned from practicing medicine for two years by the Order of Physicians, created a start-up in cosmetology.

The major promoter of hydroxychloroquine during the Covid-19 crisis announced his reconversion in a video published on his personal Youtube channel. For his new project, he teamed up with entrepreneur Nina Basri.

The start-up, called “Magnifiscience”, aims to sell a range of anti-aging products. It is “a unique encounter between scientific research and cosmetology,” according to a post published on Instagram. One thing is certain: Professor Didier Raoult has not finished making people talk about him.
