Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

If you have followed my reviews, you know that this series was overall a very good surprise and this episode is no exception to the rule. Very beautiful, visually ambitious, well-paced… Yes, I had a lot of fun watching it, to say the opposite would be a lie.
We can also say that the production model of the Mando verse series has reached maturity. No more rigid aliens from TBoBF, no more mistakes in the writing of Mando S3, no more limitations in the Volume of Mando S1… this only augurs well for the future!

But… there are points which are difficult to get through this time.
Fara. More like that… the situation really has to be desperate and desperate for her to deign to move her precious behind … while the solution was offered to them on a platter: when she opens access to the Barrier, she actually unlocks it for all ships for 1 hour or 2… (with some kind of duress code). And presto, it becomes interesting and the arrival of the X-Wings has even more impact… But no…
This Jod is not the Jod of the first 6 episodes. I'm sorry, it just doesn't add up. The one in this episode would have been ready, for example, to sell the children to a slave trader (he would certainly not have had the opportunity to do so, but a scene would have shown him to be ready for this possibility). We still go from a resourceful person who talks to a bloodthirsty dictator. The writing falls back into the ease and misunderstandings seen in other series SW. Well, at least they didn't give him a redemption arc…or a real death or arrest for that matter :phew: . Anyway, I spent the episode hating him and hoping he'd end up split in two (which wasn't going to happen, I know). If not original, giving him the same story as Jack Sparrow (a captain who wants revenge on his crew) would at least have been much more coherent.
And finally, well we learn nothing more about At Attin. The blanks in the story of Rak Rennod, the creation of these Jewels of the Republic, why they were forgotten… well, we don't know.. We feel that they are keeping elements for a possible season 2… or for the HR novels (which would be very surprising, but welcome :oui:)

Otherwise it's really good to see again – even… see :paf:a positive and fearful New Republic! And B-Wings too . Could there be an anonymous pilot resembling Wim in the postlogy?

No need to elaborate further, I think you get my point. I enjoyed this series and will happily watch it again in the future. But where Ahsoka managed to win me over and make me forget her weak points, here I feel that this will not be the case. Favorite, but not love at first sight :).
