A convoy of around twenty military vehicles from the 34th Service Battalion will pass through Laval in the coming days.
He must travel between Saint-Hubert and Amos, in the Pikogan sector, from January 10 to 12.
In addition to Laval, the convoy will pass through Montreal, Saint-Jérôme, Saint-Agathe-des-Monts, Mont-Tremblant, Mont-Laurier, Val d’Or and Amos.
Different light and heavy vehicles will be used and will be clearly identifiable as military vehicles. As they will be traveling in convoy, this could temporarily slow down traffic and cause noise. However, this convoy will not pose any danger to the public.
This trip of more than 600 km spread over two days will allow the operators of these vehicles to keep their skills up to date in a realistic context and to train to deploy to support any operation entrusted to them. (N.P.)
