Patrik Laine and David Savard will miss a fourth game in a row. The forward and defenseman will not accompany the Canadian (CH) to Washington to face the Capitals on Friday.

This was indicated by the team at the end of Thursday’s morning training, in which both players participated with their teammates.

Laine took a few reps on the fourth line piloted by Jake Evans. On Wednesday, he skated alone in a tracksuit.

The Finnish striker missed CH’s last three matches because he was ill. He has 10 points, including 8 goals, in 13 games this season.

Savard is bothered by an upper body injury.

It is also Jakub Dobes who will be in front of the CH net in Washington. The Czech goaltender won his first two games in the National Hockey League (NHL), including the first by shutout against the reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers, in late December.

After the Capitals, the Canadian will face the Dallas Stars in Montreal on Saturday.
