. Community of communes Loue Lison: health serving the 27,000 inhabitants – : all the local information

This territory, which has nearly 29% of people over 60, nevertheless has a dynamic demographic. It has 3 multi-professional health centers, 140 health professionals including around forty doctors, 7 pharmacies and 1 analysis laboratory.

A Territorial Professional Health Community (CPTS) in Ornans completes the health system to facilitate access to a treating doctor, improve the management of unscheduled care, organize the patient journey and carry out prevention actions.

A local tool to reduce territorial health inequalities

The local health contract is part of the draft mandate of the community of municipalities chaired by Jean-Claude Grenier, also Mayor of L'Hôpital du Gros . Six areas of work form its architecture: making the Loue Lison area attractive for health professionals to strengthen access to care for all; prevent and promote health at all ages through information actions from an early age; promote mental health and improve patient well-being; coordinate public health policies in the territory to improve the health journey of residents; contribute to the development of an environment favorable to health; establish a project manager to implement and monitor the Local Health Contract.

7 partners signatories of the CLS 2024-2029

Around President Jean-Claude Grenier and Isabelle Guillame the Mayor of Ornans, this health contract was signed by Agnès Hochart (Territorial Director of the ARS), Fabienne Jacquemard (Director of the CPAM25), Amélie Colomb (Director deputy of the MSA), Amandine Rapenne (vice-president of the Regional Council), Fanny Brongniart (school nurse representing the rectorate) and Sabine Delongeville (President of the CPTS Loue Lison).

The President of the CC Loue Lison, never behind on investments necessary for his territory, took advantage of this signature to underline the importance of mobility and housing in his territory. The CC has initiated a program to renovate 350 housing units for a budget of €4.5 million to keep the population in this rural area, like all of Franche-Comté where 50% of residents live in rural areas. Jean-Claude Grenier would like, in addition to the broad healthcare offering, the presence of a radiology practice.

Two events already planned for 1is quarter 2025

On March 17, 2025 in Ornans, the “Côlon Tour” is a colon cancer screening operation. In 9 out of 10 cases, it can be cured with early diagnosis.

On March 25, 2025, a health and housing forum will also be organized in Ornans.

For partners, the Local Health Contract aims to promote all stakeholders in the field. It is also a way of making the region attractive for all health professionals, as close as possible to the needs of the population.
