Six months of imprisonment
This young man, just an adult, was arrested in the common areas of a building in Ris-Orangis while he was carrying a bag filled with cannabis resin. Next to €3,500 in cash were discovered during the search of his apartment.
Florian* has already been sentenced for similar facts as a minor. He failed his baccalaureate last June. He does not work and does not pursue any training.
His contribution to cannabis trafficking being undeniable as the president of the court recalled at the end of the deliberations, the young defendant was sentenced to six months of imprisonment which he will carry out under an electronic bracelet.
“I don’t want to go to prison for nothing”
Michel* escaped prison. On January 1, 2025, he was arrested in the afternoon rue Lavoisier in Grigny. He was spotted by police officers who were carrying out discreet surveillance using binoculars in this place known to be a hub for drug trafficking.
Note that this young 20-year-old Tunisian had already been sentenced for similar offenses last October. In his box, wrapped up in his black parka, he never stopped proclaim his innocence and to deny all forms of involvement. “I don’t want to go to prison for nothing,” insisted the young man in an irregular situation.
At the end of the deliberations, it was finally relaxed. The President of the court in fact regretted that the prosecution file did not include any photos or videos proving the materiality of the facts with which he was accused.
