The storm Floriane wreaks havoc in the Oise this Monday January 6, 2025! Passing from west to east over the northern half of the country, and particularly in our department, it has made damage late in the morning.
On the RD1016 in Laigneville
Trees fell on the RD1016a busy road between Clermont and Creil, near the town of Laignevillecausing traffic disruption.
But also rue de la Liberté, in the same town. ” There speed of mobilization of our services made it possible to quickly free the tracks and secure the premises,” reassures Christophe Dietrich, the mayor of Laigneville, at the start of the afternoon.
“This event is also an opportunity to remind you that our technical services operate 24 hours a day all year round.”
Trees also fell on the railway tracks
Train traffic is also impacted, on the Creil – Compiègne line. “Traffic is interrupted between Creil and Compiègne, in both directions, after a tree fell on the tracks at a height of Pont-Sainte-Maxence”, alerted the SNCF on social networks.
After repairs to the catenary, TER traffic was able to resume around 2:30 p.m.
But this is not the only line affected since a tree also fell on the railway tracks between Noyon and Ribécourton the Tergnier-Compiègne line. Resumption is estimated at 4:30 p.m.
Other tree falls were reported in the morning on the RD916 in Breteuil, or between Cires-lès-Mello and Saint-Vaast-lès-Mello.
