Liège: the city’s parks and cemeteries are closed
The Liège firefighters have already intervened on numerous occasions this Monday, January 6 due to strong gusts of wind. Most interventions are linked to falling tree branches or even falling trees on the road. “But there are no injuries at this stage.”we were confirmed at 2 p.m.

Asse: a security perimeter established around St-Martin church
Strong winds caused damage in Leuven and Asse, in Flemish Brabant, local emergency services reported. In Asse, the gusts led to the fall of several parts of the scaffolding of the Saint-Martin church. A security perimeter has been established and all streets surrounding the building will be closed to traffic until 8:00 p.m.
