Oise: celebration of Sainte-Geneviève at the Oise departmental gendarmerie group

At the invitation of the colonel, commanding the departmental gendarmerie group of Oise, the Ud60 went to Sainte-Geneviève on December 6 in the Saint-Etienne church in .

It was the military chaplain Gilles Lherbier who celebrated this Sainte-Geneviève event, assisted by Father Auguste Chartier, parish priest.

The religious service was led by a choir made up of soldiers from the departmental gendarmerie companies of Chantilly and Beauvais, accompanied by a saxophone quartet from the Republican Guard.

At the end of the mass, this celebration continued in the salons of the Beauvais town hall.

After the welcoming remarks from Franck Pia, mayor of the city and interventions from the various civil and military authorities, a cocktail closed this ceremony.

The Ud60 was represented by Yves Demetz, one of the vice-presidents, Alain Largillier, the treasurer, Gérard Chevallier, the standard bearer and Ronald Claux, the president.

During the cocktail, we were able to get to know the new departmental gendarmerie company commanders from Compiègne, Chantilly and Clermont-de-l'Oise.
