The prefect of Morbihan informs you that the “Vilaine and Breton Coastal” flood forecasting service has just been placerthis day, Sunday 5 January 2025lthe Oust river in a state of level alertness jaune“Floods” (level 2 on a scale of 4).
Hydrological situation
The Oust catchment basin experienced moderate rainfall accumulations last night but with river levels already high and soils rather saturated following the rains that occurred mid-week. Levels started to rise again yesterday, and the rise is expected to continue until Monday due to rainy periods today, Sunday January 5, 2025 and tomorrow.
Rivers in the Oust basin are expected to reach levels higher than those observed last Thursday.

State services are attentive to the current situation and ready to take the necessary measures if necessary.

- Keep yourself informed of the situation
- Be vigilant if you are located near a watercourse or an area usually subject to flooding

- Do not drive onto flooded roads (on foot or by car)
- Avoid the most exposed activities at the edge of the water
