I feel excited, I feel confident. I am happy to welcome people who have been waiting for this moment for so long.
Despite its similarities to the original restaurant, La Marinière is a brand new business with no entrepreneurial ties to Yves Dorval, the owner of Le Marinier.
Annabel Morasse assures that she wanted to add her personal touch to the previous formula.
She nevertheless insists that her clients will find their good old classics
through submarines which now have new names.
The community contributes
The 1is Last November, the young 26-year-old entrepreneur launched an appeal to the community of more than 5,000 people that already included the restaurant’s Facebook page to help her find premises.
Her efforts bore fruit and ultimately led her to set her sights on premises at the Auberge Amérik.
I simply suggested that Annabelle come and see the place and it clicked straight away.
says Julie Gagnon, the co-owner of the Auberge.
Annabelle loved the place, then the human connection was made between her and me.
