A resident of Saïx, Florence Thibault was a respected and appreciated figure in the local community. Director of the Crédit Agricole de Soual agency, she combined her professional commitment with the role of devoted mother to her two children, Clément and Anaëlle. Passionate about the mountains, she found balance and a deep connection with nature, a passion that had always accompanied her.

The mayor of Saïx expressed his deep sadness in these terms: “Everyone in the mountains is affected when a tragedy strikes one of their own. […] This first of the year 2025, the two similar accidents on Cagire affect us all the more because Florence Thibault lived in our town.
