Swiss man arrested in Melbourne with cocaine in his suitcase

A 21-year-old Swiss man was arrested in possession of 25 kilos of drugs during a check at Victoria airport.

Australian border guards arrested a 21-year-old Swiss man on Friday. The young man wanted to import around 25 kilos of cocaine into Australia. The drugs were seized during a baggage check at Melbourne Airport.

Australian Federal Police added on X that the man’s suitcase contained packets of a white substance hidden in 20 black plastic bags. Initial tests of the substance returned a positive result for cocaine. The information was initially reported by 20 minutes SATURDAY.
