British director Christopher Nolan has chosen Morocco as one of the filming locations for his next film, Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer’s Greek epic. Filming, which begins this month, will also take place in the UK and Rome.

After the success of Oppenheimer, Nolan tackles a literary monument with this story of Ulysses’ journey. The film, shot with new IMAX technology, promises to be a grandiose visual spectacle, living up to the director’s ambition.

If the plot remains secret, we know that Nolan will bring his personal touch to this legendary story. True to his style, he could play with chronology and offer an original interpretation of Homer’s work.

Some are reuniting with the director after previous collaborations, while others will be taking their first steps into his cinematic universe.

Odyssey is expected in theaters on July 17, 2026. Produced by Universal Picturesthis film promises to be one of the cinematic events of the coming years.
