Despite unfavorable weather for outdoor sports for several weeks, the UCS Pujols riders are excelling in the 3 disciplines road-MTB-cyclo-cross.
After a successful 2024 season with a dozen victories on all terrains, that of 2025 promises to be under the best auspices, in particular thanks to the youngest riders in the Mont Pujols club chaired by Romain Jordi, himself a dynamic young president.
Recently, Paul Brezillon won two mountain bike successes on the Lomagne challenge where he leads the general classification in his senior category. In mountain biking, among the juniors this time, it is Lucas Rauzet who shows his riding skills, helped by his profile as a parallel motocross competitor. But winter is also the favorite period for cyclocross riders like Nattan Béade, also a junior, who won the Ufolep departmental championship in Tonneins in mid-December.
Bad weather therefore has little effect on the motivation of the UCS Pujols runners who train every Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of U Express and Maison de la Presse Pujols.
Next meeting the organization of the 2025 edition of the Cyclo-Cross Ufolep du Palay on Saturday January 18 in the village of Pujols at 1:30 p.m. for the children's initiation and 3 p.m. for the other categories.
