One of the oldest French rock groups, the Frantic Rollers, played one of their last concerts in Agen on September 15 at the Tannerie d'Agen space. Composed of Gilles Mora (vocals and guitar), Danny Roulleaux (bass), François Devismes (lead guitar), Claude Sentuc (drums), Jean-Marc Mazet (piano), this band of musicians was born in 1960. Only Yarol Poupaud returned in 2018 to taste the Agen scene with his group Black Minou. The former guitarist of Johnny Hallyday has lost none of his speed, nor the passion of his riffs. With his musical acolytes and charismatic lead singer Marco Prince, they ignite Florida and reconnect with their early fans.

The Michel-Serres philosophical meetings, organized from November 8 to 11, once again attract great people this year: Jacques Attali, Claude Onesta, Flavie Flament and Raphaël Glucksmann among others. With the theme “Now we make peace”, to fit with current events. The story of Annick Kayitesi-Jozan, a survivor of the genocide in Rwanda when she was only 14 years old, moves visitors and remains a poignant moment of the event. With 13,000 tickets sold, the festival broke its audience record.
