The snow that fell over the last few hours is bringing a sigh of relief to ski and snowmobile enthusiasts. The rain and hot weather of the last few days had taken a toll on the region’s trails and trails.
According to Environment Canada, up to 4 centimeters of snow are expected during the day on Friday in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
Volunteers from the Fjord snowmobile club must resume maintaining the trails on Friday, after they were closed on Monday in order to preserve them. However, certain constraints will arise in the operation.
