The cleaning operation of a wild dumpon the border between Tonquédec et Ploubezrewill not take place as planned this Saturday, January 4: Jean-Sébastien Mocaërits organizer, must postpone it, but does not give up.

Authorization required

The amateur photographer Lannionsensitive to the protection of the environment and the Trégorrois living environment, has set itself the project of cleaning up this corner of nature littered with garbage bags, cans and papers of all kinds.

In the edition of Trégor this Thursday, January 2, he took the opportunity to call on good souls to help him. But it won't be this weekend. The open-air dump is actually located on private land.

“I thought that the two plots where the waste is located were in the town of Tonquédec. In fact, they are in the Ploubezre commune, just on the border, and are private. I sent an email to the owner to obtain authorization.”

The proximity of the waste to a watercourse “which flows directly into the Léguer” also complicates the operation. However, the organizer says he is “fairly confident” and “hopes to be able to carry out this operation before March”:

“What is certain is that I will not give up! »

The organizer had already obtained help from the Celt'hygiene company for the loan of trash bags and a transport vehicle. Furthermore, a whatsapp groupnamed “A gesture for nature”, was created (see practice), to keep volunteers interested in the civic approach informed.
