On the night of December 30, 2024, a silent drama played out near the Saint-Étienne cathedral in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). A 57-year-old man, a familiar figure in the neighborhood, was found lifeless by passers-by.
Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, he was pronounced dead on the spot. Recently hospitalized for various pathologies, including severe diabetes, these medical conditions could explain his death. The public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation and ordered additional examinations, although no signs of aggression were noted.
