Periodically, the Seine Normandie Agglomération conservatory (SNA) invites the public to auditions and concerts.
The next performance will be given on Saturday January 18, 2025 in Vernon (Your).
The month of December was particularly rich. It began with the adaptation of the famous tale The Pied Piper of Hamelin, played by two actors and two flautists then interdepartmental horn meetings.
The trio Cordes et Lames enchanted the spectators with world music.
On stage in Vernon
Finally, to end the calendar year, the string, wind and instrumental orchestras of the first and second cycles met on the stage of the Yolande Moreau theater.
Collective practice of one and a half hours per week is compulsory, but students can choose their group, often guided by their teacher.
And very often, children enjoy these encounters, like this young violinist: “It forces me to play in rhythm and listen to others. Alone, it's easier but less fun. »
More than a hundred musicians wearing Christmas hats and sweaters, led by Antoine Boudaliez, Annabelle Levillain, Juliette Candella and Clarisse Bertucci performed Christmas music.
Next concert in January
The public will have the opportunity to meet most of these musicians and many others on January 18 for the twentieth edition of the folk day.
The student concert will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Yolande Moreau theater with the participation of guitars, percussion and the music class current.
The traditional prom people will be held in the Vikings room from 9 p.m. with the group La Sauterelle, from Upper Brittany.
Another meeting with music, on January 24 from 6:30 p.m. for the night of the conservatories, a national event in which the SNA conservatory will take part.
