The gym classes offered by the Argenton Friendship Circle, chaired by Jocelyne Chainay, are open to all. They take place under the responsibility of Danielle Mauduit, also treasurer of the Circle of Friendship.
“The club has existed for several decades, as for me, I am the eldest and oldest member of this club which allows me to keep in shape,” specifies Marie, known as Milou, visibly satisfied with the courses taught by Sylvain Poiron, a qualified professional, from Adesli, Châteauroux sports center.

“The gym club brings together 28 people who live in Argenton, Saint-Marcel and Pêchereau”, said Danielle Mauduit during the last class of the year, last Tuesday, December 17. The resumption will take place on Tuesday January 7, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
To practice this healthy sport, the price of the lessons is set at €90, per year with the possibility of paying in 2 installments.
“This sum allows us to pay for the rental of the evolution room, access through the courtyard of Argenton town hall and the various charges” announced Jocelyne Chainay and Danielle Mauduit with one voice.
“This Argenton club brings together a good number of members who practice exercises with or without equipment to work the arms, legs, abs, with weights, dumbbells and others…”, summarized Sylvain Poiron, professional gym teacher and educator.

at the Friendship Circle
The Friendship Circle, includes in addition to this section – which is also open to men – belote meetings, every Wednesday, in Argenton, Rollinat room from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and monthly meetings every first Monday of the month , from 2:30 p.m., Jean-Frappat room; animated by dance, lotto, board games and various activities. The members' card is set at €24 for the year 2025.
Remember that the Friendship Circle, for which the card is also obligatory, is open to everyone.
