A complicated Saturday December 28, 2024 in transport in Paris. Line 4 of the metro has been partly stopped since this morning due to a power outage in Vavin. As a result, no trains ran between Réaumur – Sébastopol and Porte d’Orléans for several hours.
Originally, traffic had been interrupted between Bagneux–Lucie Aubrac and Cité and was due to resume around 6:30 a.m. A schedule postponed several times. Ultimately, the repairs took much longer since the RATP was counting on the end of the afternoon.
Around 4:30 p.m., the RATP this time announced that traffic was interrupted between Réaumur – Sébastopol and Montparnasse Bienvenue following an electrical outage, again, at Les Halles station. Return to normal is not expected before 6 p.m.
