On vacation in Spain, in Marbella, the actress shared a rare glimpse of her beautiful blended family.
Very active on social networks, Eva Longoria nevertheless respects the desire for discretion of those close to her and her family. At 49, the actress publishes very few photos of her son, Santiago (6 years old) from her previous union, and even fewer of Mariana Baston, 21 years old, daughter of her husband, José Antonio Baston. But this Friday, the former star of Desperate Housewives broke the rule by sharing several photos of his family Christmas vacation, taken under the sun of Marbella in Spain. We thus discover the actress in a swimsuit, with a smile on her lips, surrounded by her reconstituted clan, and also by her daughter-in-law. The latter appears in a white dress, holding little Santiago by the shoulder, alongside Eva Longoria and her father.
A dystopian country
These photos are part of a carousel capturing the highlights of their Costa del Sol getaway. Captioning her post “Out of office” to her 10.2 million subscribers, Eva shared intimate moments from her life. This family trip came shortly after a controversial interview in Marie Claire where she expressed her privilege of being able to flee the United States, where she resided before going to live in Spain, and thus “escape” a “dystopian country” in the American political context, following the presidential elections which brought Donald Trump in power. These comments sparked reactions, forcing her to clarify that she had left the United States for professional reasons, and not because of the re-election of Donald Trump.
Faithful to her commitments, Eva Longoria still reaffirmed her pride in her American and Texan roots, while fully embracing the joys of her family life and her moments of relaxation in Europe.
