Thimothé Falcon, Erwan Merut, Tom Marcon and Duncan Bonnifay, all from Le Puy, took shared premises in the prefecture town, avenue Foch. Together, between creators and video enthusiasts, they work collaboratively on their different projects.
A well-known cast
A few weeks ago, a first initiative mobilized around ten people, all from Haute-Loire: Armor of the heart (The Armor of the Heart in French), directed by Duncan Bonnifay. Three minutes visible on YouTube and highlighting the landscapes of Velay, between the Rocher Saint-Michel and the fortress of Polignac to tell the medieval epic of a knight leaving his wife to go to war. The cast includes Titouan Monnier and Marina Golenko as the main actors. The couple went out Arlempdes, The Legend of the First Château of the Loire in several theaters in France at the cinema on November 27. The preview screenings in Haute-Loire were a real success.
It was also Marina who contacted Duncan Bonnifay on social networks. “Between two tours in the department for their film, she wrote to me on Instagram, via an ad that I had posted to find my acting couple,” says the director and director of photography of Armor of the heart. Filming was organized very quickly and within three days the scenes were completed. “They came home at 2 a.m. from a preview and continued with my filming at 5 a.m., until 7 p.m., before leaving for other cinemas to talk about their film,” says Duncan Bonnifay, who remembers “three intense days”. “It was a nice surprise for me to see them so invested in this project,” he emphasizes again.
More recently, Thimothé Falcon, Erwan Merut, Tom Marcon and Duncan Bonnifay released a short film about a postapocalyptic Christmas, with a message of hope for the holidays. Filming in particular towards the Beaume waterfall, they wanted to highlight the territory, through its landscapes.
