Che program aims to encourage the sharing of experiences and good practices in order to strengthen customs cooperation between African countries, indicates the ADII in a press release.

As part of this initiative, Morocco intends to exchange its expertise in the modernization of customs services, simplification of procedures, digitalization and alignment with international standards, adds the same source.

The ADII thus contributes, in harmony with the south-south cooperation policy advocated and promoted by the Kingdom, to the strengthening of relations with friendly countries and the expansion of the partnership network within the continent.

The launch of the said program comes at a time when the role of African customs administrations is essential to complete the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (Zlecaf) and achieve the economic integration objectives set out in the continent’s agenda. , particularly through the development of intra-African trade.
