Dakar, Dec 27 (APS) – The Court of Auditors will publish in a few days its report on the situation of public finances covering the period from 2019 to March 31, 2024, announced the Prime Minister
“In a few days, the Court of Auditors will publish its report,” he said, making his general policy declaration to the National Assembly.
“I don’t know what is written in this report, but I can assure you that it will come out no less than what we revealed in terms of malfeasance and mismanagement,” he said.
He alludes to the situation of public finances left by the old regime which reveals “erroneous data” on the debt and the deficit, according to the government.
Ousmane Sonko promised that all those responsible for this “catastrophic situation” that Senegal is going through will be prosecuted.
