The Great Montauban(Tarn-et-Garonne) offers to give a second life for Christmas trees once the holiday season is over. These “fir tree recovery” will make it possible to recover these trees which will be transformed into compost by the Sirtomad (mixed waste treatment union). Every year, nearly 2,000 trees are collected and transformed into compost, to give itself a second life.
24 collection points
Until the beginning of February 2025, 24 collection points are set up throughout the city with a view to recycling of fir trees.
