This Thursday afternoon, Snapchat star Hachemi was to organize a stage of his HMI Tour in Lyon. And hiding gifts worth a total of 100,000 euros.
Faced with the risks of causing excesses, particularly among young people, the Rhône prefecture announced that it had issued an order aimed at prohibiting Hachemi's gathering, which was to be accompanied by YouTuber Ibra TV.
The influencer also announced on his networks that he would take advantage of his visit to “pay rent, clothing and school supplies to people in precarious situations met in Lyon.
State services emphasize “the absence of particular local circumstances”since the location of the treasure hunt is kept secret until the last moment by the snapchateur and his teams.
And recall that the previous events organized in Lille and Brussels have “led to the gathering of several hundred fans in the greatest disorder in the city center, generating serious disturbances to public order”.
The decree therefore prohibits the gathering and distribution of gifts “across all districts of Lyon”. And promises up to 6 months in prison and a fine of 7,500 euros to organizers and participants who do not respect the ban.
It remains to be seen whether or not Hachemi will follow these instructions, or whether he will ultimately organize his HMI Tour in another neighboring city.
