As we approach Noëlthe Knowledge manufacturing came alive for the “My gingerbread factory” workshop.

On Saturday December 21, 2024, under the leadership of Anouk, a passionate and smiling host, 15 participants, parents and children, gave free rein to their imagination to build sweet factories inspired by the neighborhood, the former heart of the textile industry.

An original workshop for little gourmet architects

The idea? Take inspiration from industrial architecture of the Blin district and the typical roofs of the old factory, visible from the large windows of the workshop, to build your own factory… in gingerbread !

Gingerbread walls, cigar biscuit fireplaces and melted chocolate glue: enough to make Christmas and sweet treat lovers dream. Some had even planned small decorations in colorful candy to finalize their creations.

Tom, accompanied by his mother, particularly enjoyed himself. “For once, I have the right to play with food,” confides the little boy, delighted. For an hour and a half, each family shaped, assembled and decorated their mini-factory, guided by Anouk's kind advice. The smell of chocolate and the warm Christmas atmosphere added a festive touch to this creative afternoon.
