Saudi Airlines celebrated the Kingdom's historic victory in winning the right to host the 2034 World Cup by offering unique and memorable experiences on board more than 30 flights, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of joy for its passengers.
In an unprecedented move, Saudi Airlines aircraft pilots delivered the exciting news in person to passengers during the flight, transmitting the historic announcement directly from the cockpit, making the moment exceptional and emotional.
Some flights celebrated the event with bright green lights, while entertainment screens showed images of the Saudi flag accompanied by the famous song “Foug Ham As-Sahab” by the great artist Mohammed Abdu, reinforcing feelings of national pride and of unity among the passengers. On some flights, passengers also received special commemorative tickets, stickers and small flags to mark the special occasion.
During a special flight from Jeddah to Dubai, an exclusive reward of 34% mileage benefits was offered to passengers, thereby amplifying the festive atmosphere and bringing a touch of special recognition to the passengers who were part of this event historic in the Kingdom's journey towards organizing the 2034 World Cup.
